How it works

Each and every time the engine is stopped and started, or the each and every time the engine RPMs change, there is a change in oil pressure inside the filter.

Traditional filter materials are able to catch some contaminants, but they change shape, bend, and physically degrade due to pressure changes. This causes the trapped contaminants to be released or‘shed’ back into the engine, over and over again.

How does the Oilsaver filter reduce maintenance costs?

It eliminates the need to perform frequent oil changes, thereby eliminating those associated costs. These include the price of new oil, new filters, and labor. Additional value is created two other ways. First: reduced downtime, and second: life extension of the engine due to the elimination of harmful contaminants which were previously in the system

Can I use the Oilsaver filter in extreme weather conditions?

Yes. Oilsaver easily passes cold start tests of temperatures down to -65F and meets the MILDTL-32746 specification.

How often do I need to replace the Oilsaver filter?

We recommend every 9 months as a standard. This can be extending as long as oil sampling is performed to monitor the oil chemistry and contaminant level. Oilsaver filters are over-engineered and extremely durable. Our customers choose to stick to the 9 month schedule to simplify their maintenance routine with larger fleets.

Can the Oilsaver filter help extend my engine’s lifespan?

Yes. Harmful contaminants are removed from the engine’s oil circulation and they do not re-enter the system. There is no ‘shedding’ of contaminants once they are trapped by the filter.

Where can I buy the Oilsaver filter?

How easy is it to install the Oilsaver filter?

All of our filters are made to replace the original equipment manufacturer design. For example, if your engine currently uses a spin-on design, the Oilsaver filter will have that same spin-on design that will fit just the same. No accessories or engine modifications are needed.
